HOW TO FORM A ROSARY CIRCLE

Personally contact friends and parishioners and ask them if they would be willing to give 20 minutes of their time, once a week, to lead the rosary in church.

Why in Church?

To give greater honour to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. To pray the rosary together for peace in the world and in reparation and atonement for sins committed in this day and age. As a small penance, have to leave one’s home.

Ask those who are willing to take an evening, which evening they would prefer, Monday to Friday each week.

Cover as many evenings a possible from Monday to Friday with two or three parishioners.

When the evenings are covered, approach the parish priest personally for permission for the laity to recite the rosary in church at a time so as not to conflict with the parish priest’s duties.

Maintain the same time each evening of possible, and tell the parish priest why you wish to have a Rosary Circle.

If the parish pries agrees, ask him if he would publish it in the parish bulletin two weeks before commencing the Rosary, and to insert it in the bulletin each week when the Rosary Circle has started.

Place a Rosary Circle poster in the church (supplied free by the Association).

Distribute ‘Our Lady of Mount Carmel’ leaflets, (obtainable from the Association).

Endeavour to attend at the commencement of the Rosary Circle.

Leave the success of the Rosary Circle to Our Lady.

Each Rosary Circle is a link of a chain of hope.

Please advise the Association of your progress. Newsletters are periodically sent on request, to all parishes who have a Rosary Circle so that a link may be maintained.

There is no formal membership, as belonging to a Rosary Circle is all that is required to become member of the Association; neither is there a membership or annual subscription, as since it’s inception the Association’s expenses have been met out of members’ voluntary donations; in spite of some difficult times Our Lady has always taken care of our needs in this way.
